Kim Penfold to speak at housing conference

Kim Penfold is to speak at the Chartered Institute of Housing’s annual North West Conference on 24 March 2010. The Conference will be held at De Vere Whites Hotel, the Reebok Stadium, Bolton.

This is a major event aimed at housing professionals and decision makers who want to learn about the latest trends and issues affecting housing in the North West of England. This year’s theme is “Housing Futures – a new vision in the North”. With a potential change in Government and continuing economic uncertainty, the housing sector in the North West will be facing serious challenges over the next few years. It is important to understand the trends and issues behind these challenges if the sector is to make the contribution it is capable of making towards improving living conditions and supporting economic recovery in the Region.

Kim will lead an interactive workshop entitled “What’s going on out there? Why environmental scanning is important in planning our future”
